EGREGIUS DIGITAL ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Kindred: The Giving List ("the App") collects, uses, and protects personal information. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
Information We Collect
- Account Information: Email address (or Apple’s private relay email), password (handled by Firebase Authentication), and optional display name.
- Profile Information: Optional profile photo; children’s lists are created and managed only by parents/guardians.
- Gift Lists: Items added by users, including optional notes and links.
- Event Information: Birthdays, holidays, or occasions you choose to track.
- Device & Usage Data: Firebase Analytics and AdMob collect information such as device type, app version, session length, and ad interactions.
How We Use Information
- To provide and improve App features.
- To enable group coordination, event reminders, and activity feeds.
- To show relevant ads (via AdMob).
- To analyze usage and improve user experience (via Firebase Analytics).
- To respond to feedback and support requests.
Children’s Privacy
Parents/guardians may create gift lists for their children. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13 (COPPA) or under 18 (where required). All children’s information is managed by their parent/guardian account.
Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data:
- With Service Providers: Firebase (hosting, auth, analytics), AdMob (ads).
- For Legal Reasons: If required by law.
Data Retention & Deletion
Data is retained while your account is active. Users can delete their account in-app at any time, which removes personal information and associated data. You may also email admin@egregius.tech to request deletion.
Security
We use Firebase security, encryption in transit, and restricted access to protect your information.
International Users
Your information may be processed in Canada, the US, or other locations where our providers operate.
Changes
We may update this policy; changes will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date.
